Having noticed that a lot of charities are curious about AI but aren’t sure where to start, a colleague and I decided to put together a webinar to give these charities a simple, clear introduction to AI—what it is, how it works, and, most importantly, how it can actually help them. The goal was to demystify AI and show them some practical ways they could start using it right away to make their work easier and more impactful.
The webinar was about an hour long and pretty interactive, with around 12 people joining us on the call. We kicked things off with a straightforward explanation of AI, breaking it down into easy-to-understand concepts without all the tech jargon. Then, we showed some real-world examples of how charities are already using AI—things like automating routine tasks, improving donor engagement, and analyzing data to make better decisions. We also made sure to leave plenty of time for questions, so everyone had the chance to dive deeper into the topics they were most interested in.
The feedback from the webinar was super positive! The participants walked away with a much clearer understanding of AI and felt more confident about exploring how they could use it in their own organisations. Some even mentioned specific areas where they’re excited to start experimenting with AI tools. Overall, the session was a great success, helping these charities take the first step towards leveraging AI to boost their impact and efficiency.
P.S. If you’re interested in hiring us for our AI services, please feel free to check out the AI packages that we offer.
"Janinah was a really insightful speaker, who clearly knew her stuff. Her words on ‘a person who is good at using Ai’ really landed with me, and motivated me to try again, having tried once, found it not quite right, and gone back to doing it all myself. I went on to use it that afternoon at work to do something that usually takes much longer. Her words about results taking several iterationere just right. I also felt safe to restart knowing that I can keep my data to myself, and not allow it to be used by others – I found the option Janinah mentioned. I then went home, buzzing with new skills energy and applied it to some areas of my life too. I am going to try to use AI every day."
