Here at JMK & Co, we've made it our mission to improve the stories, systems, and (web)sites of society driven organisations, so they can continue delivering impact throughout their local communities.
After years of working within the non-profit, public & private sectors, we’ve found organisations often struggle with either internal, or external growth, caused by two common bottlenecks:
1. Lack of customers (or the wrong ones) due to poor business planning, resulting in a failure to grow externally.
2. Lack of internal growth & scalability, as a result of ineffective business operations & systems.

Clarity & comprehension is the cornerstone of any successful project, which is why before beginning any project we make sure to have a thorough understanding of client expectations and expected outcomes ensuring we're able to provide a selection of innovative solutions.

Once we know exactly what we need to be cracking on with, we collaborate closely with our clients to determine the most cost- effective and efficient way to resolve it. Where most agencies and consultancies see their clients as customers, we consider our clients to be colleagues and the Co included in JMK & Co.

Creation of project outcomes is the third stage in our methodology and is all about collabing with your team to make sure milestones are met and missions are made into a reality. As we're passionate about creating solutions to difficult problems, we'll make sure to choose the right processes & tools for each part of the project making sure it's delivered on time & to a high standard.

Having worked for several value - driven organisations over the years we know how challenging it can be at times to implement new strategies and systems when everyone is busy helping your beneficiaries. Freelance business first founded in 2016: Although the business has changed much over the years - Most notably becoming a business consultancy that specialises in supporting socially driven organisations (Feb 2022). One thing has remained the same & that's a massive passion for digital empowerment & positive impact.

Questions, questions & more questions —> That's how we typically start any project. In fact, that's how we start all projects because to us it's crucial we understand not only your organisation but the people behind it & how they work best. This deep understanding means we're able to align our abilities with the challenges your organisation may be facing; from embracing digital to increasing inefficiencies in operations. We're always up for a challenge & happy to help a purpose-driven brand in need.
Expect clearly defined processes. We've honed our approach over many projects & job roles, so we use a range of tried & tested techniques & tools to get the job done.
Expect a focus on research-driven ideas & insights. There are lots of consultancies out there who pride themselves on their abilities to gain insights out of ‘Crazy 8 Workshops’ & ‘Lightning Sprints’, however whilst we're all for a good workshop session ourselves - We also believe in the massive amount of value to be gained from good ole fashioned desk research. This is why throughout the project you'll find us swotting up on the latest sector trends & tools you might find useful.
Lastly expect approachable, passionate people. We care about our work & helping your organisation achieve long-term success. We do this through collabing closely with your team & keeping front of mind your needs and the needs of your beneficiaries.
Our work encompasses business & brand strategy & digital systems design - As we believe all business are made up of stories & systems: Stories that will engage and inform your customers/funders & 'Behind the scenes' systems that help your team continue to deliver impact to society.
By specialising in the aforementioned areas (as opposed to dozens like full service agencies) we're able to build brands that matter & create/develop the business; strategies & systems that enable them.
Not to mention we're much more nimble than some of the aforementioned agencies/consultancies out there with 10+ clients on their books. We only work with a handful of clients per time. So be assured you'll have our undivided attention 😉
