At JMK & Co, we use the Double Diamond 4-step process in all of our projects, to ensure our approach is thorough and tailored to your needs.
We start by looking into your charity's mission and goals, gathering insights on your current impact measurement practices. Through stakeholder interviews, data analysis and research, we identify gaps and opportunities: Ensuring we understand the unique context of the project. This phase also sets the groundwork for the following three phases.
Starting with a solid understanding of your main challenges (discussed during discovery), we synthesise our observations to pinpoint the top issues to tackle. From fine-tuning your Theory of Change and specifying impact metrics to finding ways to make your databases work better—we outline what needs to be done to address your top priorities. This also helps us to stay true to what matters most to your charity.
In this creative phase, we develop solutions to improve your impact measurement efforts. Activities typically include crafting compelling impact reports, streamlining your data collection and/or reporting processes, and defining impact frameworks. We also prototype and test various approaches where possible, ensuring our solutions are innovative, practical, and tailored to your charity's specific needs.
Finally, we implement the refined solution(s), ensuring they successfully support your efforts to monitor your social impact whilst providing you with the tools and knowledge you need to refine how impact can be showcased effectively.
